Freeform Swimming Pools

Freeform pool designs are inspired by nature and are limited only by your imagination.

Freeform Pool Designs

Freeform inground pools are designed in a natural or irregular style and shape, with curves and flowing lines. Contemporary freeform pools often have rock and waterfall features and are designed to resemble a natural pond, lake or oasis. Materials used are natural or reflect those found in nature.

Freeform Swimming Pools provide freedom to the designer which can allow the concept of new spaces in particular areas around the pool. It is also essential to consider the personality of the home and style, which is a vital aspect of the design for freeform swimming pools. While some clients may design their own freeform style, soft curves and free flowing lines of freeform swimming pools can allow the client to add spaces and elevated entertaining areas.

Freeform swimming pools are not as popular these days, due to the trend returning to traditional rectangular swimming pools. Although, this is not to say freeform swimming pools are yesterday only. In the right location such as a tropical or bushland setting, freeform or natural pools look amazing.

The Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia (SPASA) is Australia’s peak Swimming Pool & Spa Industry Body.
